SCI4190 Brewing Science

Description:
This unit will present students with an introduction to the chemical, biological and bio-chemical processes of beer brewing. It will detail the chemical structures of materials used in the brewing process and the changes that occur to those materials in preparation for and during the brewing process. The unit will describe the processes that occur from an elementary scientific perspective. The unit will also introduce students to the sciences involved in beer analysis.
