The unit will provide students with an understanding of the entire e-business planning process. This includes how to identify and differentiate from competitors, select the right mix of products and services, create effective offline and online e-marketing strategies, understand the functionality that drives e-commerce enabled businesses, carry out a critical analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, evaluate and calculate a significant return on investment and most importantly learn how to "sell" an idea to potential investors. E-business planning will provide students with life skills that are essential to success in the 21st century.
