JUS4134 Alternative Dispute Resolution in a Multicultural Context , or
 
Description:
This unit analyses conflict and communication as they apply to disputes and decision making in the family setting. The generic model of mediation is applied to family issues including divorce, parent-teen conflict, adoption and elder care. Issues are addressed including "mediating in the shadow of the law," domestic violence, "best interests of the child," and ethics.
