This unit enables students to further develop their knowledge of homeostatic mechanisms and the pathophysiological basis of health disorders or injuries relevant to the pre-hospital speciatilty. An examination of maladaptations to physiological dimensions of health and the relation of this to clinical decision making will be explored.
