This unit focuses on the combined application of engineering and management systems. Students will examine a "cradle-to-grave" approach to safety systems including the conceptual design, development, fabrication, construction, commissioning, production, modification, and ultimately decommissioning of a facility. Students will also be introduced to the safety case system as well as major hazard facilities legislation underpinning systems safety. Full Unit Outline | |||
