SCI0101 Brewing Materials and Processes

Description:
This unit will introduce students to the range, quality and selection of raw materials used in the brewing process and the methods and equipment required to convert these materials into beer. It will examine the science underlying raw material quality and conversion processes. This unit will build on the introductory unit, SCI0100, to give students a thorough grounding in the influence of raw materials in the science of brewing.
