Description:

This unit provides knowledge and experience of current practices in advanced manufacturing, concentrating on manufacturing processes and techniques and related technical issues. Students will develop a basic understanding of the relationships between material properties and manufacturing processes. This unit also exposes students to the analysis of critical parameters in metal forming, ceramics and polymer processes in order to achieve quality and productivity.
