EDU4172 Audiology and Hearing Habilitation

Description:
This unit introduces the student to the anatomy and physiology of intact and damaged auditory systems. The physics of sound, measurement of hearing loss and interpretations of audiograms are explored. Habilitation programs and auditory training techniques are examined in relationship to amplification aids and equipment for the implementation of appropriate educational intervention.
