ECS4248 Assessing and Evaluating Young Children’s Progress

Description:
This unit enables the student to become a skilled observer of the behaviour of young children as a prerequisite for assessing and evaluating children’s developmental progress. Procedures available for testing young children are critically analysed for their appropriateness having regard to age, gender, culture and socioeconomic factors. Attention is given to targeting curricula to meet identified needs and individual learning styles.
