NPN4112 Mental Health Issues

Description:

This unit examines mental health concepts and practice with an emphasis on primary health care.  The unit introduces general concepts of mental health and illness and explores how these are supported through contemporary practice.  The management of complex behaviours and dysfunction are addressed, as well as appropriate theories of care and nursing interventions.
