Description:

This unit considers texts representative of a given period. A period may be defined provisionally as the 18th century; by a movement such as Romanticism; or by significant publication such as The Bulletin Era. The unit examines the ways in which the works reflect or criticize the attitudes, values and concerns associated with the period.
