NSP5111 Oncology Nursing Practice

Description:
The focus of this unit is on the skills, knowledge and nursing practice required in cancer nursing. The unit will cover epidemiology, health promotion, prevention and early detection of disease, therapeutic interventions and associated issues. Emphasis is on nursing interventions, and includes symptom management. Approaches to enhancing quality of life across the cancer trajectory are explored and evaluated.
