JOU3101 Journalism Project
SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND ARTS

Description:
Practical experience in the field of journalism forms the core of this study unit. Through a series of seminars and online forums students will be introduced to the history and theory of narrative journalism and feature writing. Students will be admitted into this unit only after they have demonstrated a satisfactory level of competence in their chosen field. The projects undertaken by a student must receive approval before they are commenced. Students will be required to get two significant feature articles ready to be published and to prepare the materials required to pitch them to industry.
