| This unit will examine issues relating to life-limiting illness, the dying process, assessment skills, pain and symptom control from an allied health perspective within the palliative care team. Students will be encouraged to critically analyse the relevant literature regarding symptom control issues which impact on current provision of care. They will also be expected to review their workplace with regard to the roles of allied health in addressing symptom control issues in palliative care. Full Unit Outline | |||
