Environmental Health Major

M20 BACHELOR OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE 
 

The Bachelor of Environmental Science with an Environmental Health major will enable students to develop skills in the quantification and assessment of environmental health risks.  Topical and global issues that impact on the health of communities and environments will be explored.  The course has been designed to meet the requirements of the Australian Institute for Environmental Health and is taught by environmental and health professionals across ECU to provide the most appropriate expertise in this cross-disciplinary area.

 

The degree has three main components:

 

1.  A core program of eight units completed in the first year.

2.  A Major program consisting of fifteen units in Environmental Health.

3.  An elective unit
