V54 University Associate Certificate in Mental Health Nursing for Re-Registration

INTRODUCTION

The mental health nursing re-registration program is for mental health nurses whose practice and registration has lapsed for five or more years and need to update their knowledge prior to seeking re-registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of Western Australia.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Letter of support approving entry into the program from the Nurses and Midwives Board of Western Australia.

 
COURSE LOCATION
The theory component of this course is only available off-campus.

This course is available by Part-time mode.
 
MODE OF DELIVERY
This course is available in the following mode of delivery - Online.

This course is available externally in electronic or print-based mode.
 
COURSE STRUCTURE

The course comprises one theoretical and one clinical practice unit.

Note that the nursing practice unit requires the student to attend 10 days of clinical practice in an acute psychiatric setting.
