Description:

The aim of the unit is provide the student with knowledge to operate as an independent critical care paramedic working under medical authority in the pre-hospital care of paediatric patients. Emphasis is placed on obtaining an advanced understanding of the pathophysiology of medical and traumatic conditions in the paediatric patient.
