This unit focuses on philosophical and ethical perspectives of recreation in the natural environment. It examines the nature of the outdoor participant, and gives an overview of environmental management and administration. Through participation in activities such as kayaking, dinghy sailing, bushwalking and abseiling students examine the meaning, concepts and values of outdoor recreation. | |||
