Description:

With economic, social, political and technological interaction increasingly occurring between nations, there is an expanding array of issues for international managers to consider, particularly against the backdrop of increasing globalisation and expanding international competition.

 

This unit acquaints students with current international management theory and practice, and uses culture as a foundation to examine a variety of issues facing managers of international business operations. Here we examine the core components and skills an international manager needs in order to be effective and provide students with the opportunity to develop their management, analytical, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
