U15 Master of Arts (Indigenous Sector Management)

The Master of Arts (Indigenous Sector Management) enables people working in the Indigenous sector to enhance their expertise as professionals and contribute to Indigenous self-determination and autonomy.  The course provides opportunities for students to develop their knowledge of the socio-political context of the Indigenous sector, their management skills, their analytical and critical skills in policy formation, leadership, research and decision making.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor degree OR equivalent prior learning including at least five years appropriate professional experience.

 
COURSE LOCATION
On-line and external. Some units may be available internally.
 
MODE OF STUDY
This course is available by Full-time, or Part-time mode.
 
MODE OF DELIVERY
This course is available in the following mode of delivery - Online.

Full-time depending on unit availability.

A total of 180 Credit Points is required to complete the course.

 
YEAR ONE - SEMESTER 1

Students who have completed the first 60 credit points (4 units) of the MA(IndigSectMgt) may exit the course with a Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Sector Management.

Students may substitute other University Level 5 units with approval from the course coordinator.

Students who have completed the first 120 credit points (8 units) of the MA(IndigSectMgt) may exit the course with a Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Sector Management. Should students subsequently re-enrol to complete the MA(IndigSectMgt) they must surrender the Graduate Diploma. Admission on the basis of prior learning is not guaranteed.
