The Youth Work Major is a specialised Major. All students in the Youth Work Major must complete all 12 units listed in Group A and Group B. Each semester full time students will normally select one unit from each group.

(1) The first four units in Group B have been designed as full-year units to provide maximum flexibility to arrange appropriate timings for placement experience.

(2) The practicum component may be discharged at any time of the year, depending upon placement availability. Students will negotiate this with the Course Coordinator.
