G16 Bachelor of Arts (Education)/Bachelor of Business

The Bachelor of Arts (Education)/Bachelor of Business prepares graduates to teach Business in secondary schools.  Graduates are qualified to work in State or Independent school systems.  The double degree also provides the option of higher degree studies in either Education or Business.    Graduates have the added advantage of being employable within two fields.  Students can become professional secondary school teachers or explore opportunities in such diverse fields as administration or finance.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Standard university admission requirements apply including a TEE mathematics subject.

 
SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All students must undertake and clear a CrimTrac prior to entering schools and agree to adhere to the School's Rules and Regulations in relation to professional practice, http://www.education.ecu.edu.au/prac/.  Students will also need to obtain a Working with Children clearance.

 
COURSE LOCATION
This course is available on Joondalup Campus.

Some classes may be scheduled for Mt Lawley.

COURSE STRUCTURE

Within the double degree the units are shared between Education and Business studies. Students are required to pass a total of 480 credit points to complete the course.
