MITHDE  Minor in 3D Design Minor

This unit set is available in the following courses:

A new understanding of design is emerging whereby the boundaries between various traditional 3 dimensional design fields are becoming less defined, and designers now move between a number of related disciplines throughout their career.  Within the professional design industry there is a growing demand for flexible graduates with professional attitudes and broad based design knowledge.  The 3 Dimensional major takes students on a comprehensive journey through both the theoretical and practical aspects of 3 dimensional design, covering areas such as narrative design theory, computer aided design, retail interior design, object and furniture design, exhibition and display design, as well as presentation and professional practice skills.
