Description:
This unit is a compulsory unit in the Accounting Major for the Bachelor of Business. The professional use of information systems is a major protion of the working life of a graduate accountant. This unit covers the use of information technology within the accounting profession, from both an individual and an enterprise perspective. Formal study of the highly complex technological issues facing the accountant is supplemented by practical laboratory sessions which serve to illustrate the theoretical material and build "hands on" skill in the participants.
