ART5286 Art Therapy Placement 1
SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND ARTS
Credit Points: 15
 
Description:
This is the first of two supervised placement units which give the student an opportunity to develop and improve his/her art therapy skills and to relate theoretical study to practice. In this placement the student is required to spend a total of 100 hours in one institution or agency where he/she will work individually and in groups with patients. The placements run concurrently with other course units and enable the student to orientate to effectiveness or otherwise of art therapy over several weeks.
