EDU4579 Teaching Children With Emotional and Behavioural Disorders

Description:
This unit provides an insight into the nature of emotional and behavioural disorders that might be encountered in a range of classrooms. Theories underpinning behavioural and emotional disorders are emphasised as well as the most effective techniques for identifying, analysing and teaching students with high and low-incidence behavioural disorders. A strong emphasis is placed on the design, selection and application of particular behaviour modification programs to suit individual students. This unit has a large practical component.
