SPM2111 Sport Organisation Management

The unit examines the concepts, theories and practices in key areas of sport management. It is organised into topics that apply basic management principles to sport organisations with a special emphasis upon human resource management. Students are also provided with the opportunity of gaining experiential knowledge of sport management during a short-term practical placement in a sport organisation.
