SCM2101 Environmental Mapping
Credit Points: 15
This unit introduces the fundamental concepts and methods of remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS) and outlines their roles in environmental management. Emphasis in remote sensing will be given to the application of aerial photography to the interpretation of landforms and land cover classes.
