D98 Bachelor of Science (Network Technology)

INTRODUCTION

The Bachelor of Science (Network Technology) course provides a thorough background in network technology. Considerable emphasis is placed on practical skills based on a strong theoretical foundation relevant to employer expectations.

 

The first year of this award is based on credit transfer from relevant TAFE Diploma or Advanced Diploma studies or equivalent.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All applicants must have completed a relevant TAFE Diploma (AQF level 5) or Advanced Diploma (AQF level 5) or equivalent. Examples of suitable TAFE awards include MS50 Advanced Diploma of Electrotechnology (Computer Systems Engineering) or C130 Diploma of Information Technology (Network Engineering). It is recommended that applicants should also have completed TAFE Cisco modules 1,2,3 and 4 or hold the Cisco CCNA certification. Students will also be required to meet the minimum English entry requirements of the University.
