The Bachelor of Arts (Training and Development) consists of the equivalent of three years university study, the first 120 credit points of which may be granted as advanced standing based on the principle of recognition of prior learning or credit transfer. The second and third years consist of 120 credit points (eight units) each, of which 195 credit points (13 units) are in the major area Training and Development.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
As the Bachelor of Arts (Training and Development) has been developed for practitioners currently working in or who have experience in teaching and training roles with adults, in addition to meeting the entry requirements of the University applicants will be required to:
- be currently employed in the workplace in a position that is affiliated to the training and development function or have access to such a workplace; and
- have a minimum of two years full-time or equivalent experience in a training and development role; or
- be currently enrolled as a TAFE lecturer and have a minimum of one-year's full-time or equivalent part-time experience in the TAFE sector.
On the basis of meeting these admission requirements students will be assessed for advanced standing of 120 credit points.
