This unit builds on the foundations laid in Oceans and Atmosphere and Waves, Tides & Beaches. The principles of surf dynamics are considered in the context of their application to wave-riding activity. The engineering aspects of re-engineering naturally generated surf to suit surfing activity along with concepts of artificially generated surf are examined. | |||
