PHE4304 Advanced Studies of Teaching Physical Education

PHE3202 Physical and Health Education 2 (Primary)

PHE2104 Physical and Health Education (ECS)
 
Description:
A study of the observation, analysis and evaluation of the teaching and learning process in physical education. Current research and findings on the effectiveness of the teaching of physical education will be used to review the traditional methods of teaching certain content areas. Innovative and alternative approaches, considering the needs and interests of students and the outcomes to be achieved, will be developed, implemented and evaluated. Strategies for the advocacy of physical education as a major learning area in the curriculum will be outlined.
