Description:

This advanced unit introduces the student to the critical role of auditing in the information marketplace. The unit content covers a number of important auditing concepts, such as the audit testing methodology and focuses also on the practical application of Australian Auditing Standards. Critical thinking and both written and oral communication skills are developed in this unit and the unit concludes with a discussion of the future directions of the auditing profession, both in Australia and internationally.
