M27 Post Graduate Certificate of Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning)

INTRODUCTION

The Post Graduate Certificate of Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning) will provide and opportunity for advanced study in the field of Strength and Conditioning.  It is a one semester (or equivalent part time) course designed for the undergraduate student in Sports Science or related area to enhance their trianing in the specific field of Strength and Conditioning.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Students must have successfully completed a Bachelor degree in Sports Science, Human Movement, Physical Education or a program of study of similar nature. In particular an undergraduate background in human anatomy and physiology is required.

 

COURSE LOCATION AND MODE OF STUDY

The course is available part time or full time and is available on-shore at the Joondalup Campus or external mode and on-line.  A 2 week intensive workshop is required during semester 2 as part of Strength and Conditioning Practicum which will be scheduled outside of normal semester times.
