This cross-institutional Master of Nursing degree (by Coursework) enables the student to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to apply for registration as a Nurse Practitioner to the Nurses Board of Western Australia. Developed in conjunction with the Flinders University in South Australia part one of the the program enables the student to first enhance their individual knowledge and skill whilst working in their selected area of specialisation and then through the second part of the program to acquire the theoretical knowledge and skills to extend the specialist nurse extended practice role to that required of a Nurse Practitioner. There are ten speciality areas in the program.
