CHN1130 Purpose of Play

This unit explores the inter-relationship between play and development by examining the theory of play and the application of that theory in practical ways for early and middle childhood within a cultural context. The unit provides skills to identify and prepare sequences of a range of play experiences that are developmentally appropriate and meaningful to the child. This unit is linked to CHN4117. Students who have completed CHN4117 are not eligible to enrol in CHN1130
