IAS1102 Identities and Intercultural Practices

Description:
This unit provides students with an introductory framework for understanding and managing Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal intercultural relationships and practices. It takes as its premise the shifting terrain of cultures and identities that sets up all relationships as negotiable. Through an analysis of dynamic, social, historical and political interactions, the aim of this unit is to introduce principles of self-reflection and co-responsibility in the care and management of individual and collective work placed relations.
