In this unit students will explore the biopsychosocial and spiritual needs of the adult client/patient and principles of nursing care to promote adaptation to altered health status. Students will identify needs at the foundational level of client/patient care. N.B. The following units must be undertaken concurrently: NSP2208 - Beginning Nursing Competencies and NNS2205 - Applied Pathophysiology & Pharmacology 1 (NNS2205 may be completed prior to enrolment in NNT2405).
