This unit develops a conceptual framework for individual short term psychodynamic psychotherapy. It focuses on the development of skills and understanding in using psychodynamic interventions in short term work. In addition the unit critically evaluates the different models of short term psychodynamic psychotherapy. There is a particular focus on Levenson’s Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy and Davanloo’s Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy. Full Unit Outline | |||
