This unit provides the theoretical framework and practical skills that make up psychodynamic counselling including the broad areas tracking the client’s communications, promoting empathy and developing insight. Opportunities will be provided for participants to review their current counselling and interpersonal strategies as well as to receive supervision for their counselling practice.
