Description:
This unit introduces students to clinical practice issues in working with children. The major disorders of childhood, adolescence and the impact of sexual abuse will be covered. Assessment and diagnostic issues when working with children and adolescents will be outlined as well as some of the most frequently utilised psychotherapies for childhood disorders.
