| This unit is designed to assist students in becoming part of the global business environment by addressing the application of international financial reporting standards. A range of accounting standards are considered which address key issues in the preparation of general purpose financial reports. This unit builds and extends your understanding of the impact of accounting theory, corporate law and accounting practice from the perspective of financial reporting.
