Description:

This is the first of 3 specialist units in occupational hygiene. In this unit students will be introduced to what occupational hygiene is, its history and its place in today’s world specifically in Australia. Students are introduced to a range of topics that relate to the recognition of physical, chemical and biological hazards in the workplace. In this unit particular attention will given to chemical hazards.
