This unit reviews current and emerging issues and evaluates their relevance to modern-day marketing practice. It promotes critical thought and application of cutting edge concepts in both marketing and their application to the current business context. Of interest will be the way marketing has developed over time in its role as the driving-force of the modern business. The unit therefore focuses on the theories and strategies adopted by the marketing profession.
