This unit introduces students to family types in Australia. Students develop an understanding of how children develop in a diverse range of families. They also consider the roles of key agencies and individuals within the justice system intervening in these families. This compulsory unit proves an important sociological and psychological foundation for moving into the other specialised units. | |||
