This advanced unit introduces students to the critical role of audit and assurance with emphasis on both theory and practice. The unit content covers auditing and assurance concepts, decision-making processes, procedures, testing methodologies and reporting to conform with frameworks, standards and regulations. This unit also covers specialist areas and future directions for the auditing and assurance environment globally.
For this purpose, analytical thinking, appraisal, written and oral communications skills are developed in this unit.
