A critical examination of key aspects of the processes involved when individuals move away from addictive behaviours and/or drug-related problems. Also under examination are the multitude of interpersonal, social and cultural influences on these processes of change. Influential models of change are highlighted. The roles and effectiveness of different treatments in promoting change are identified. | |||
