This unit will cover the principles of pathophysiology and pharmacology from a nursing perspective. Integration of diagnostics and treatment will occur covering both pathophysiological mechanisms and systems. Basic pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics will be taught, with the aim of enhancing the understanding of the principles of drug administration, actions, reactions and interactions. | |||
