This unit provides the basis of clinical skills to work in a health care context with a focus on emergent and critical situations. It entails a step by step approach to the application of clinical skills, medical documentation, therapeutic communication and introduction to the evidence supporting their use. Additionally it provides the opportunity for application of these skills in a controlled, interdisciplinary team environment.
