This unit provides coverage of the understanding, attitudes and skills required to effectively manage various types of arts organisations and a constantly changing work environment. The major managerial functions of planning, leading, organizing and controlling are investigated and applied to arts organisations with the aim of identifying appropriate systems that support creative output and ensure organisational sustainability.
